WHow do I search for jobs on YahooJobs?
YahooJobs offers you various ways to search for thousands of jobs. You can begin your search on the home page, under the Quick yahoojobs Search section, by entering a keyword or phrase, city/state location, yahoojobs and industry preference. You can also search via the industries by clicking on the "View All" link under the Featured Categories section located on the right side of the home page.
If you desire more in depth search options, click on the "Job Search" tab. On the next page you can perform a basic or advanced search. You can also choose to search by company or search international jobs.
Basic Search on YahooJobs: When you click on the "yahoojobs Search" tab you will be taken to the Basic Search page. Under the Basic Search section, start by entering keywords that describe the type of job you are looking for. Try entering more than one keyword if your search results are too broad. Use quotation marks to search for a specific string of words such as "Financial Analyst."
Using the City and State fields, you can limit your search to a specific geographic area. For instance, if you are looking for yahoojobs in and around the San Francisco area, simply enter "San Francisco" and select "California" from the State menu. If you want to search for jobs nationwide, leave the City and State fields blank.
You can select a yahoojobs category to search or leave the selection on the default "Select a Category" to search all yahoojobs categories. You can also specify your salary expectations under the Minimum Salary section, and your experience level under the YahooJobs Experience Level section. Click the "Search for Jobs Now" button to perform your search.
Advanced Search on YahooJobs: This is the most inclusive job search option. Not all fields are required; however the more search criteria you specify, the narrower your search results will be. Like the Basic Search, the Advanced Search allows you to search using keywords, location, job category, yahoojobs salary and experience level criteria. The Advanced Search also allows you to use additional Boolean functionality in the keyword section, search multiple locations and industries, and search jobs from employers, staffing firms, or both.
Search by Company: In this section you can search through the companies that are members of Yahoo! HotJobs. You may search by company name, city/state location, industry and company size. You can also choose to search companies by alphabetically.
Search International yahooJobs: This section allows you to search for job listings outside of the U.S. You may choose to search within the whole country, view jobs in a specific city/province within that country or view all job listings in the country alphabetically or by industry.

How do I apply for a job on YahooJobs?
Click the "Apply Now" button on the Job Detail page.
If you have already posted your resume on Yahoo! HotJobs, simply enter your Yahoo! ID and password to proceed through the apply process.
If you have not created an online yahoojobs resume with Yahoo! HotJobs, you will be prompted to do so. If you have a Yahoo! ID, you can create your resume using one of our three resume-creation options. If you do not have a Yahoo! ID, you will need to register for one before you create your resume. Once you are finished posting your resume online, you will be taken back to the job apply process.
You may include an optional cover letter when applying to a job or import your saved cover letter from your YahooJobs account. Yahoojobs you will have the opportunity to preview your resume and optional cover letter before you submit your application to the job.
