How do I purchase an album that I have heard through YahooMusic?
While you are looking around YahooLaunch site, you will see the shopping cart icon. Clicking on this icon you will take to Yahoo! Shopping where you can then purchase CDs, cassettes, or LPs.
If you are on an artist page and click by some albums, you will be taken to that album on Yahoo! Shopping. YahooLaunch. You may also be taken to the main Yahoo! Shopping page. If this occurs, you will need to re-enter information about the album that you would like to purchase.
Once you have found the album you want, click on "Add to Cart" by the CD, cassette, or LP, and be sure to check the availability of the album. After you add an album to your cart, you can either continue shopping or proceed to checkout. When you have all the items you want, you will have to sign in (if you already have an account) or join the site and fill in your your shipping, personal, and billing information.
Is joining Yahoolaunch and Yahoo! free?
Yes, joining Yahoolaunch and Yahoo! is free. All you have to do to use Yahoolaunch is to join Yahoo!. Your Yahoo! ID will work on Yahoolaunch so if you are already a Yahoo! member, you are all set.
To sign up for Yahoolaunch personalized services, just follow the instructions for new users on the sign-in page of any of Yahoolaunch personalized services.

What is Subscription Music?
Subscription music refers to songs available through the YahooMusic Unlimited subscription service.
You can play these songs on the YahooLaunch Engine, transfer them to subscription-compatible portable devices and share them with your friends via the Messenger Music feature, if your friend also has a Y! Music Unlimited subscription (if not, only :30 samples will be shared).
You can access any song on Y! Unlimited where you see the Add to My Music icon. If you are a subscriber, yahoolaunch clicking this button adds the song to My Music. You may add an unlimited number of songs as part of your monthly subscription.
Periodically, the computer containing the subscription song files must update the licenses by going online to the Internet.

What is a yahoolaunch Stream?
Stream refers to a song that's played from a server rather than the source file downloaded to your local machine (download). With YahooMusic Unlimited, you select in the Preferences section of the YahooMusic Engine whether you prefer subscription music to stream or be downloaded to your local computer from yahoolaunch
Streaming music can only be enjoyed when you are connected to the Internet. Music you have selected to download, however, can be played whether you are online or offline.
yahooLAUNCHcast Plus Radio, which comes with your Yahoo! Music Unlimited subscription, is a streaming audio service.
