Searching for Items
If you know what you want on YahooShopping, use the Search box on the front page of Yahoo! Shopping. Just follow these steps:
Under "Find Products," type a keyword or words into the Search box.
You can search all of YahooShopping, or you can use the drop-down menu below the box to narrow your search to a specific department.
Click the "Search" button.
Browsing for Items
YahooShopping is divided into different departments, just like a store. You can browse for products by clicking your way through the departments listed on the front page of YahooShopping. Here's how:
Under "Browse Departments," click on any of the links.
Click on the various subcategories until you find the item you want.
Once you have found what you are looking for and are ready to buy, YahooShopping lets you make your purchases, safely and securely.

YahooShopping Product Search is a new search tool designed to help you find a comprehensive listing of products available on the Web. Yahoo! Product Search enables you to search through millions of items from thousands of merchants, so you can find, compare, and buy almost anything.
How do I find the item I want to order at YahooShopping?
To find a specific item, enter the name in the Search box at the top of the Yahoo! Shopping page. The Search box allows you to find a list of matching items and categories. You can also browse through the Yahoo! Shopping categories to find items that interest you.
If YahooShopping is unable to find an exact item match, you'll receive a message saying, "We were unable to find exact matches for your search for "product X." The message will offer these tips:
Check the spelling of your search term.
- Try synonyms, related terms, or variant spellings.
- Use proper spacing between words.
- If your search term is too specific, try a term that is more general.
- Broaden your results by searching in "All of Shopping" rather than in a specific department.
We also encourage you to contact one of the merchants featured in Yahoo! Shopping concerning the availability of an item. At the store's web site, you can find contact information by using links such as "Info" or "About Us."
